Need an Escape from Holiday Intensity: My favorite part of December...
I am kind of a nerd (or a raging dork to use my sister's terminology) in countless ways, and here's my nerdy confession for this time of year: I like the bookkeeping, administrative, and organizing part of closing down the end of the year. Do you know what I did (and enjoyed!) on New Year's Day last year? My taxes! LAME! I know, but I really like it.
Visions of Next Year Dancing in My Head
Completing the year on time gives me the freedom to focus on what I really love: envisioning next year! I daydream about the year to come and look forward to it all - little things like putting the holiday stuff away and cleaning the house back up, and big things like vacations.
